about

I'm a San Diego-based actor of Japanese and European descent.  After receiving my degree in Theatre from UC San Diego, I continued my actor training at the American Conservatory Theater in San Francisco, with additional studies at The Old Globe, and HB Studio in New York.  With San Diego Asian American Repertory Theatre, I worked nearly every job onstage and off, ultimately serving 8 years as Associate Artistic Director.

My voiceover career began in stage productions before moving to narration, animation, scripted and unscripted podcasts, dubbing, radio, industrials, live announcing, mobile games, and audiobooks.  Training at Edge Studio in Los Angeles provided a solid foundation in VO production and technique, where my voice was described as "classy, compassionate, dynamic and expressive."  I've recently begun Audio Description and motion capture work as well.

As a singer with the jazz vocal quartet Party of 4, I loved the complex alto lines and tight harmonies of the Great American Songbook and more!  Favorite experiences include singing with a 40-piece orchestra; in the onstage choir of The Hunchback of Notre Dame at La Jolla Playhouse; and with East West Players' 2022 production of Sondheim's Assassins.
