My voiceover career began in stage productions before moving to narration, animation, scripted and unscripted podcasts, dubbing, radio, industrials, live announcing, mobile games, and audiobooks. Training at Edge Studio in Los Angeles provided a solid foundation in VO production and technique, where my voice was described as "classy, compassionate, dynamic and expressive." Further coaching has prepared me for Audio Description and motion capture work.
As a singer with the jazz vocal quartet Party of 4, I loved the complex alto lines and tight harmonies of the Great American Songbook and more! Favorite experiences include singing with a 40-piece orchestra; in the onstage choir of The Hunchback of Notre Dame at La Jolla Playhouse; and with East West Players' 2022 production of Sondheim's Assassins.
As a podcaster I've been a frequent guest on the popular comedic I Just Want To Talk About Star Trek, and was co-host of the madcap Hodorcast, about all things Game of Thrones. Both are available on iTunes.
I'm a San Diego-based actor of Japanese and Irish/English descent. After receiving my degree in Theatre from UC San Diego, I continued my actor training at the American Conservatory Theater in San Francisco, with additional studies at The Old Globe, and HB Studio in New York. With San Diego Asian American Repertory Theatre, I worked nearly every job onstage and off, ultimately serving 8 years as Associate Artistic Director.
