My voiceover career began in stage productions before moving to narration, animation, scripted podcasts, radio, industrials, mobile games, and audiobooks. Training at Edge Studio in Los Angeles provided a solid foundation in VO production and technique, where my voice was described as "classy, compassionate, dynamic and expressive." Further coaching has prepared me for Dubbing and Audio Description.
As a singer with the jazz vocal quartet Party of 4, I love the complex alto lines and tight harmonies of the Great American Songbook and more! Favorite experiences include singing in an 800-seat venue with a 40-piece orchestra, and in the onstage choir of The Hunchback of Notre Dame at La Jolla Playhouse.
As a podcaster I've been a frequent guest on the popular comedic I Just Want To Talk About Star Trek, and was co-host of the madcap Hodorcast, about all things Game of Thrones. Both are available on iTunes.
After receiving my degree in Theatre from UC San Diego, I continued my actor training at the American Conservatory Theatre in San Francisco, with additional studies at The Old Globe, and HB Studio in New York. With San Diego Asian American Repertory Theatre, I worked nearly every job onstage and off, ultimately serving 8 years as Associate Artistic Director.
